Bournemouth have enjoyed a historic Premier League campaign, securing European football for the first time in the club’s history after Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Manchester City. Andoni Iraola’s side are now on a club-record 17-game unbeaten league run and still have an outside chance of reaching the Champions League, while also aiming to complete a league double over Nottingham Forest after winning October’s reverse fixture 2-0.
Forest, meanwhile, had their eight-game unbeaten run ended by a 3-2 defeat at Manchester United last weekend, although survival was already secured before their Europa League semi-final exit to Aston Villa. Vitor Pereira has improved the team since arriving in February, but the Tricky Trees are still searching for their first Premier League victory over Bournemouth, having failed to win any of their previous seven meetings.
